Ed was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley.  In 1986 he became involved in the towing industry which ultimately got him involved in working with the Los Angeles Police Department and the California Highway Patrol.  Seeing first-hand the need for community education in traffic safety, Ed became involved in VTAC.  Past President of VTAC Jeffery Olshane got Ed to become a member of the Car Show Committee in 2009 and 2010 helping to put on VTAC’s Annual Car Show and Traffic Safety Fair.  Donating his time to help raise the much needed funds to support the continual education of the Valley’s motoring public he feels is very rewarding. 

In addition to VTAC, Ed’s past involvement includes Mid Valley Community Police Council (MVCPC), Community Police Advisory Board (CPABS) and the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce and the California Tow Truck Association (CTTA).  He’s also donated vehicles to the local Fire Stations for vehicle extrication training and the Van Nuys Graffiti Task Force.
