Joanne Littman was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley.  After many years of being a department manager at Nordstrom, she wanted to get more involved with serving the community.  Joanne is now a Public Relations Representative for Howard Sommers Towing.  Howard Sommers Towing is the Official Police Garage for the West Valley.  Howard Sommers Towing has been serving the San Fernando Valley since 1959.

VTAC is just one of many Police Boosters and Committee groups that Joanne is involved with.   Joanne and her husband head up the Parents Group for their children’s school.  Both of their children are very involved with Taekwondo.  In fact, their 8 year old son has already achieved his black belt. 

In the last five years Joanne has been very committed to VTAC.  She has been the Secretary and has helped in all the Golf Tournaments and Car Shows for just as long.  Joanne now heads up the Chair for the Officer Awards Recognition Luncheon each year.  Her motivation comes from the satisfaction of knowing that her hard work and money raised goes for educational materials, supplies and equipment for the officers of Valley Traffic Division which helps to keep the streets safe in the San Fernando Valley and to help “Save Lives”.
