Vahid joined the VTAC board in 2010 after learning of the organization from Joanne Littman after a friendly softball game.

Professionally, Vahid is an equities research analyst providing in-depth fundamental analysis for institutional investor groups on small cap stocks. Additionally, he provides analysis on the impact of federal regulations on investments and the economy.

In addition to his position with VTAC, Vahid is currently Treasurer of the San Fernando Valley Jaycees. Prior to his term as Treasurer, Vahid served as Executive Vice President in 2009. Vahid was awarded 2010 California Jaycee of the Year. Vahid is also a member of the Board of Directors with the Encino Chamber of Commerce, currently serving as Vice President, and West Valley LAPD Jeopardy.
